BOUDOIR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

How do I book a session? Simply contact us by phone or email. We will go over any questions that you may have and match up calendars to make your reservation. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your session and the remaining balance is due the day of your shoot. Looking for a bigger package but not in your budget right now? Ask about our payment plans! You deserve it!!!

Why do you charge a deposit to reserve the session? The deposit is 50% of your session fee and is non- refundable. This guarantees that your reservation is held just for you as well as that we are only booking clients who are serious about showing up for their sessions.

What payment methods do you accept? We accept cash, check, money orders, Visa, and MasterCard. Payment Plans are available but must be paid in full prior to your session or prior to receiving ANY prints or products. Please contact us for more details.

Where are the sessions done? Boudoir sessions traditionally take place at our main studio in Cary, North Carolina or location of your choice. Quarterly, Revolution Studios offers an on-location boudoir event with limited availability. For more information about our next event please contact the studio directly.

Should I come early? Revolution Studios sets up appointments based on the studios availability with built in time for items like getting settled, administrative paperwork, etc... that won’t interfere with your shooting time.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy? All cancellations or rescheduling must be done with a 2 week notice otherwise a $40 rescheduling fee will be applied. Due to our back to back scheduling please note that any client who is 10 or more minutes late will be subject to be rescheduled with our rescheduling fees applied. Clients who do not show for their appointments forfeit their deposits, certificates, and coupons and may only reschedule with owners consideration.

Do you offer hair and make-up services? Hair design and make-up artistry services are available for an additional fee to enhance your final product. Let’s face it...we are not all experts in dramatic make-up or how to enhance our look while working against strong lights and flashes. Not to worry…we have experts that can help! Our stylists apply your make-up specific for a photo session to ensure your final product is WOW!!! Please plan on arriving to your session with clean hair and face including no face lotion! It is ok to apply your normal hair products  however our stylists reserve the right to reschedule should you not be “styling ready”.

Can I bring a friend? You are free to bring with you anyone who you feel may add to the enjoyment of your session but will not distract you or the photographer. Please keep in mind that most tend to relax more in front of the camera when there are no observers on the set. If you can see yourself practicing your best “sexy or sultry faces” in front of your friend then great! If not then you may want to save the sharing to when you show off your amazing shots! Children or anyone under the age of 18 are not permitted to ANY boudoir sessions.

Boudoir For Men??? Yes, at Revolution Studios we even ROCK Male Boudoir Sessions for her eyes only!!! So whether she likes you in jeans and a muscle T or just your Underroos.... we've got it covered GQ style.

What is a steamy couples session? This type of session includes lovers of the opposite sex in an intimate setting while we document things such as a kiss, caress, and an embrace. These sessions are always fun, never intimidating, uncomfortable or obscene. The idea is to leave much to the imagination but to capture a special moment with your love one.

Can I snap a few with my camera? Revolution Studios DOES NOT allow ANY personal photography during your session including but not limited to digital cameras, cell phone cameras and video. Violators will be asked to leave immediately and will forfeit their deposits, certificates, and coupons and may only reschedule with owners consideration.

Can I do any shots topless or nude? Revolution Studios permits topless photography however does not offer sessions involving complete nudity or "bottomless". That being said we can provide creative posing implying nudity. It is a policy that we are not willing to compromise.

What happens when I arrive for my session? When you show up to your session, we will take a few minutes to talk, look at the outfits you’ve selected, and quickly organize a shoot outline. We will conduct the session in a very professional matter and will instruct every pose and offer direction in facial expression. So leave the worries at home!

How do I select photos from my session? Within 2 business days after your session, you will have access to a password-protected proof gallery that you can view on-line. We will additionally schedule your post print consultation to view your images on a big screen with one of our client services representatives back at the studio. At that time we will share with you examples of the prints and products we offer and assist you in placing your order.  

Can I purchase digital files? Finished, high-resolution, digital files are available with a minimum purchase. The images are available individually or at a discounted rate for the entire collection. All digital images come with a copyright release form for printing and web usage.

Will you reproduce a specific picture I saw in a magazine? We try to accommodate your ideas however by allowing your photographer to find the best poses and camera angles for your physique, face, overall look, and personality is usually the best way to go. Of course, the photography will always be within the boundaries you are comfortable with.

But I don’t look like a super model… You do NOT need a “perfect body” to looking stunning in your boudoir photographs! We all have imperfections or areas that we are insecure about! We have mastered the art of creative lighting and posing to flatter any figure. Additionally, after the shoot we would be happy to work with you to “touch up” any problem areas you are concerned about.

What do I bring? The amount of clothing changes depends on which package you select. We usually advise women to bring more than they think and then we can help with the final selections at the studio. We do not provide any lingerie but have many props and sets here at the studio. We encourage you to bring additional props from home that you may want to incorporate into your shoot.

Can I bring a bottle of wine? Revolution Studios does NOT allow drugs or alcohol of any kind inside the studio. In addition, those who come under the influence will be asked to leave.
